  • The Oliver Art House has just opened in Broadway in the previous first Broadway High School building on South Main Street. They are a ‘home for the arts’ with classroom and gallery space for the community. Sapling Coffee Co. will also be housed in the same building and they’re planning to open in early 2021.

 

 

  • The Tuning Fork—a music repair and sales shop—has recently opened in downtown Harrisonburg. Check them out for all your music needs!

 

  • The previous downtown staple Earth & Tea Cafe has launched an e-commerce website: amartebymar.com. Many of the 28 different kinds of teas were those that were offered at Earth & Tea cafe!

 

 

  • Massanutten Regional Library has just announced that they will no longer be collecting fines for overdue books. They broke the news on Giving Tuesday. Read their full announcement here.

 

• The town of Bridgewater has found the Bridgewater Hotel economically feasible. The hotel is planned to be built along Dinkel Avenue near the Bridgewater Health Center.
