As a member of the Chamber we encourage you to make your voice heard and your opinion known on public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels. Chamber members receive access to elected officials and regulatory bodies while keeping abreast of the issues that impact your business.
We keep you informed of our efforts through:
- Candidate Forums
- Pre- and Post-Session Legislative Forums that offer an overview of the General Assembly Sessions
- Annual Presidential Address featuring the area’s College and University Presidents
- Additional issue forums to help you learn about changes in policy that could impact your business
Public Policy Committee
The Chamber’s Public Policy Committee provides a forum for members to discuss and establish positions on public policy issues. The committee focuses on topics such as education, health care, transportation, tax policy and related business-climate issues.
